Opinion Editorial Topic: Gas Prices

1. What is a problem/issue that our entire student body (our school, community, country, etc.) faces today?
-Gas prices

2. What is your view/position on the problem or situation?

-Hate how much gas is because teens like me can barilly afford to go any where. Your basically working to put gas in your car.

3. What would you like to achieve with your editorial? (What is the desired result?)

-To express that there are many people out there that don't like how much gas is. They should lower the price. Your not the only one out there who is working to just put gas in your vehicle.

4. How will you persuade your audience to adopt your viewpoint as theirs? List at least 4 persuasive points.

-Working only to put gas in your car, you can't even go have fun with your money.
-You have other things to pay for other than gas... car insurance, cell phone bill, food, bills..etc
-20 dollars in gas doesn't give you any gas like it used to..
-Riding your bike, walking/jogging, carpooling are way more efficient ways to get here and there

5. How will you motivate your readership to action in your conclusion?

-By telling them the more healthier solution. like riding a bike, jogging, walking.. etc
-By working only to fill your gas tank and not being able to buy anything else is not a fun way to live life.
-There is plenty gas out there that it does not need to be so much.

6. How will your editorial serve a public purpose?

Everyone in the world pretty much drives a vehicle and therefore everyone is also needing to buy gas... so this issue pretty much affects everyone. Gas should not be that much because it is going to be putting some people in debt. This is going to be a bad thing for the world.
